It depends on your interest but if you ask my opinion then marketing would be best for you.

It is great that you are planning MBA after this course. I am sure that you will be good at numbers so finance can be a good option but make sure that you opt for the specialization that interests you the most. Marketing is also good in your case.

    Hi,
You can opt for MBA in operations management after mechanical engineering as it would suit you better though you are from engineering background.

If you were really passionate about mechanical branch then you can surely opt for majoring in operations for MBA. It will lead you to immense opportunities and learning.

Being from an engineering background, you may opt to pursue MBA in IT/systems/operations specializations. Even consulting is one of the sought-after profiles, which may include traveling to various countries.

You should go for marketing or consulting. Consulting surely provides you highly paid job but also required hard work with lots of travelling. You will travel the world and that too all sponsored by company.

    Dear Raj,
If we see the past trends, students with B.Tech mechanical background usually preferred operations because they are having 4 years learning experience over that. If you wish, operations might be a good choice but I advise you to follow what your heart says and your interest and skill permit.
