I am a student of class 11 (science) and want to do BCA, can you tell me about the scope and eligibility for it?

If you are a Science Student, then your first priority should be to go for B.Tech in CSE/IT. If you can get admission into B.Tech, then you should definitely pursue B.Tech without giving it a second thought. And, if you aren't eligible for B.Tech, then BCA is also a good course to pursue and enter into IT Industry. For admission into BCA you need to score at least 45% in your +2, if you can score and meet this criteria then you can get admission very easily. The scope of any course depends upon the caliber of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria:
10+2 Science stream students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, who have passed board examination from a recognised board, are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum marks criteria may exist, in case of many Institutes. It may vary between 40-50% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects. Also, in case of some Institutes, students must also have appeared for the state level entrance examination to be considered eligible to apply for the course.
