Some tips to crack the IIT exam are- 1. Do smart work rather than hard work. 2. Optional - Join any good coaching institute for the preparation of JEE exam. 3. Solve NCERT and Reference books problems. 4. Solve last year question papers of JEE exam.

You should study for 8 hours daily to prepre for the same. Apart from that, backup from a good coaching institute either classroom or distance course will be a good option. Make sure, all your concepts are clear and practice more and more numerical. That is all you need.

If you are taking IIT coaching classes then HC Verma is the best book for physics, Singage or RD Sharma is the best book for maths, Amit Chauhan or OP Tandon are the best for organic chemistry. IIT Mains and Advanced exams are not that much easy and nor in any way it is difficult. Try to make your concepts clear on time without any hesitation.
