Hi! In CLAT exam, English portion covers 40 marks and 30 is a pretty much good score. All you can do is go through past year CLAT question paper that will give you a better idea how to strategies your planning. All the best.

You really need to score well in English section to make it to an NLU. Practice the book Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis and also go for Universal's Guide to CLAT and LLB.

You could go for Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis for vocabulary and Wren N Martin for grammar.
