Yes. If you have a passion for Designing and flair for creativity, you can always apply for Designing irrespective of any stream you are pursuing in 12th standard. But remember that you have to clear Design Aptitude Test and then Situation and Portfolio test incase you want to take admission in Unitedworld Institute of Design ( UID ) located at Gandhinagar Gujarat which is currently India's best Design Institute. Why not. You can do car designing after completing your XII exam. As my cousin's brother also completed his Bachelor's degree in Automobile and transportation design so I know it very well. He was selected UID for his study so I can share their admission process with you. After completing your higher secondary exam from any recognised board with minimal 50%, you have to sit for their admission test. There will be 3 rounds of selection test.
