i am a student of commerce background and recently completed 12th can i apply for Aircraft maintenance engineering?
I come to know that after completing one year diploma in aircraft engineering or aero engine construction & operation one can apply for aircraft maintenence engineering (AME)

sorry you can't because minimum requirement is 55% in +2 (PCM)

DEAR Divya , for any engineering basic requirement is u should have a science stream in +2 with the compulsary subjects as physics , chemistry and maths , as u have mentioned ur were having commerce stream that means u don't have physics and chemistry so u r not eligible for it .

Divya, there is a dilemma in your question, as you told your background is commerce and also said completing one year diploma in aircraft engg. Well if your background is commerce you can't opt AME, bcz minimum eligibility criteria is PCM in 10+2. You can do AME after diploma and also 1 year is save
