I am a student of GSEB and want to take admission in NITs, is it required to get a good percentage in board examination?

Hello Vivek, It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in seeking admission in one of the National Institutes of Technology. This setting of goal is of vital importance during not only our student life but even during subsequent years. As you have set yourself a goal of seeking admission in NIT, I am sure you would be studying hard to achieve that goal. You do not need to score too highly in the 12th standard of your state board examination but you surely need to score very well in the JEE Mains examination that is the qualification exam for admissions into NIT's and is conducted by National testing agency.
