Hi Vartika! First of all, you cannot pursue Masters degree in fashion design if you did not pursue the same at Bachelors level. Although, you can pursue a Diploma course in fashion design. Secondly, you should know that switching your field from B.Com Honors to fashion will make B.Com honors degree redundant as both are very different fields. But if you are passionate about fashion, you should certainly go ahead and pursue fashion designing. As far as the benefit and scope of the fashion designing field is concerned, choosing a career in fashion designing should be a long term project in ones life and it is one of the best paying industry today. Though this is a tough place to survive with extreme competition, the scale of its scope and opportunities never drop down. There is the choice of joining some fashion designing companies; manufacturing or export units for a paid job or design clothes to sell them in ones own boutique. The most common areas of job spaces for people with fashion designing background are fashion research, designing and production of cloths and textiles designing.
