Hello Sheetal You could certainly opt for a PG Program in Graphic Design or consider doing skill development Certificate program in it. However, ensure that you possess creative talent and inclination towards visual thinking. Knowledge and interest in sketching could also be helpful. After doing Graphic Design you have good prospect to become Layout Designer, Graphic Designer, Pixel Artist, Web Graphic Designer,Illustrator, Image Editor,Packaging Designer etc. Leading employer companies for Graphic Designers are from sectors like Printing, Publishing, Imaging, Packaging, Print Media Advertising, Outdoor Advertising, TV Channels, Post Production Studios ,Animation studios, E-learning Companies, Gaming Co's etc Graphic Design and Digital Media related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities. I suggest you to opt for Web and Graphic Design insted of only Graphic Design or UI/UX design (User Interface/ User Experience) for exponential growth, as you are shifting your career direction. Graphic Design requires good mentoring. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Design requires good mentoring.
