I am an FY B.Tech student but want to study physics. Can I get directly into the 2nd-year of B.Sc or do I need to start from the 1st-year?

No for B.Sc. you have to start again from 1st year. There is no option of starting from 2nd year. B.Sc. And B.Tech both are different course with different curriculum and different syllabus.

Dear Student, Sorry to inform you, But unfortunately no after 1st year in B.Tech, you can't get direct admission in 2nd year for another subject. To get admission in B.Sc, you need to start again by enrolling in 1st year with a fresh admission. I hope this helps.

Dear According to your query, you have to start your education in Physics (Hons) from 1st year of graduation. So, apply in the particular university for the same. All the best.
