I am an IT professional but I want to be an IAS for that I want to prepare for it in parallel with my job. How it is possible ?

Preparation for IAS exam is a full time affair for at least a year as it is the most competitive exam of India. If you are graduate like B.Tech. or BCA/MCA, you can choose optional subjects from your field and prepare. For more details on eligibility criteria, syllabus, optional subjects, mock tests

Select the preliminary subject of your choice and prepare General Knowledge, General Awareness from Competition Success Magazine, IAS Aptitude Magazine. If you feel unsecured then acquire books from leading IAS Institutes and pay the tution fee prepare with those materials.
