I am an IT professional with an experience of 3.5 years. Should I appear for GMAT now & apply for colleges after I gather 5 yrs experience?

Considering GMAT has a long-term validity, is this suitable or I may apply for colleges now itself?

If you are planning for MIM then 3.5 years of experience is more than enough for you. If you are looking to do MBA abroad then you need to consider having a few more years of work experience. So yes, you can go ahead with your GMAT and accordingly apply to colleges according to your career plan.

I guess by MIM, you are pointing at Masters in management. I am looking at pursuing a PGPM 1 year programme in India itself. How competitive (getting into it) it is as compared to an abroad MBA?
