I am an MBA(Fin) with 4 yrs. of exp. & planning to do a course on Project management, how far is it significant in manufacturing industry?

I have done my ICWA (Inter) and have 3 yrs.of managerial experience in Finance & Controlling in automotive industry and 1 yr. in SAP consulting. I want to move back to manufacturing sector & am planning to take up qualifications which can help me in this purusit.

Well you have good enough profile to work as a project manager. Managing budget is a part of Project management which is showcased by your finance experience. It would be better if you could add some PMI certification like PMP to your profile.
