No, you  don't need to appear for the MHT CET exam if you are an NRI/OCI/PIO/dependent of a person working in a Gulf country. These categories of applicants are exempt from taking the MHT CET for admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra. There's a separate selection process for NRI/OCI/PIO/C
