I am an SC student. If I get 50 out of 360, can I get NIT for computer engineering?

It is very nice to know your aim and desire to get into computer engineering of any of the NIT's. As per the reports in the year 2018, the minimum marks required for a student to be eligible for registering for admission from SC category was 50. Mind you this was the minimum marks which will make you eligible for registration not that it will get you any seat. Normally twice the number of students as compared with available seeds are selected are allowed to appear in counselling. Hence my sincere advice to you would be not go for 50, but aim for at least 100 marks out of 360, if you want to get admission in any of the N...more -
No, you should be in top 50 thousand rank. And, you must have a score greater than cutoff mark.
