i am archanaA B.Ed and MA in economics qaulified. want to do Ph,D. which research topic is best for me in economics.

Archana, try to understand the process of Ph.D. which I am giving you below:- 1. Identify an UGC approved university/institution from where you would like to pursue Ph.D. 2. Go personally or download application from the website, fill it up and send with document copies and application fees to the university. 3. Based opn your application, you will be intimated the date of entrance exam which is mandatory as per UGC notification of year 2009. 4. After successfully passing the exam, you will be called for the personal interview during which you will have to present a 500 words synopsis of your proposed work. It need not be very specific but a general idea. 5. If you are selected then you will have to undergo the credit course and clear the exam. 6. After credit course, you will be allocated supervisor with whom you should discuss your topic, research methodology etc. He can only finalize and approve your topic and no one from outside. Balance of the procedure of research work will be informed by your supervisor as methods can be little different from university to university.
