i am aspiring to be a film-maker in future and is intrested in fil direction, can u please tell me the payscale of an assistant director ?

i wish to be a film-maker in future, but many of the people i know say that renumeration in this field is not good enough They say that an assistant director can not earn more than Rs. 25,000 per month in any case in which he'd had to manage his food, accomodation and travelling charges. Please cmnt
