I am B.tech (Computer Science) and currently pursuing M.tech (Modeling and simulation). I am interested in management. I would like to work in production units or plants.Should i go for MBA(operations) or MBA(Production management?

Hi Paranjay,
It depends on what you have to choose and what is the purpose you want out of the program. For example an MBA today is very recognised and will defnitely have much better placements.
All kept aside that MBA is degree which is meant to make you more indutrsy prepared and so MBA has to

what ever more qualification we add in our profile in present time of cut throat competition, it is beneficial for us. employees prefer the jack of all trades. but as you are a technical person, i will suggest you do complete your m tech first, get the job and persue mba in distance mode during work

the final decision rests upto you to choose your career,but i would prefer you to pursue Ph.D in the relevant subject of your study,because it would enrich your field of computer technology more.while doing Ph.D,you can complete your MBA in distance education mode.since you are interested to work i
