I am working on Telecom sector (GSM Base Station System). I want to shift to Telecom softwware. I want to do a course on LBS (Location Based Service) which is a future requirement for all Telecom operators. Please suggest me good institute from where I can do this course through distance mode.

As is the case with telecom sector in India, almost everything is imported, including software, hardware and value added services. There are no institutes in India which offer course on LBS, leave alone distance mode. Since you are keen on distance learning, I will give you
