I am BE,ETX,1996 MUM Univ ,14 yrs exp in IT,age 39. Currently at home for 1.5 yrs after layoff. Is it wise to do IGNOU MBA by age 42.

I have done be in electronics 1996 - 56% Honours from Mumbai , I have 14 yra IT experience. I am at home for 1.5 years. Is it wise to go for OPENMAT and then distance MBA by age 42. I cannot go for full time MBA. Will iI be able to get a job BECAUSE OF MY AGE at completion ?
