I am BSCIT graduate and currently working as Software associate in MNC (1.3 yr exp).I want to pursue MBA but cant do full time.Help
Please help me to understand the weightage of PGDBM and MBA in industry. Some institutes like IGNOU provide MBA and symbiosis and wellinkar provide PGDBM through distance can you tell me which one is better and also let me know whether this degress can help me to grow in my carreer? thank you.

MBA and PGDM degrees have equal value and are considered same. MBA is given by UGC and AICTE approved universities and have somewhat fixed syllabus. PGDM is given by IIMs and autonomous universities and some times by even UGC approved university. The major difference is that PGDM has flexible syllab

1. PGDM/PGDBM is awarded by autonomous institutes offering management programmes. Autonomous institutes cannot offer MBA so they provide two-year full time PGDM programme equivalent to MBA.
