    Geoinformatics is a specialised field necessitating expert knowledge. Background in science stream is a must. Students from geography, geology, agriculture, engineering, IT or computer science fields can gain admission to M.Sc., M.Tech. courses in Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing.
    Job prospects
