To share- The eligibility criteria for PhD varies for every institute. **However, the basic requirement is a masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. **Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two Research Publications for the PhD programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years. **Candidates desirous of earning a PhD. in a particular area should exhibit deep understanding and maturity in that area. This is evaluated through an extensive interview by a panel of experts. **A description of one or two proposed areas of specialization (1-2 pages per area) is to be attached along with the application form. **The description should include references to work published in leading journals or conference proceedings including at least one reference to seminal work in that field.
