I am completed PG in Sociology from Annamalai University through distance mode. Can I apply for UGC NET?

<p>Hi hafsath.&nbsp;</p><p>to appear for UGC NET in Sociology the candidate should follow the following eligibility criteria as per the gudelines issued by the authority .</p><p>Candidates holding foreign degrees, diplomas, or certificates, or post-graduate diplomas from Indian universities or institutes, should, in their own best interests, find out from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, whether their diplomas, degrees, or certificates are equivalent to master's degrees from accredited Indian universities.<br>A post-graduate degree in a relevant field, such as electronic science, humanities, computer Science &amp; applications, social science, etc., from a college or university recognised by the UGC is required of candidates.</p><p>and since you fulfill the above requirements hence you can appear in the exam positively.</p><p>hope this helped.</p><p>best wishes.</p>
