Nirmal Bhagat | Contributor-Level 72011-09-26 12:09:24To be an Income tax officer you have to either appear for SSC Graduate level examination for recruitment to Income tax Inspector, or you have to appear Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC. The upper age limit for these examinations is 27 years and 30 years respectively. If you have completed LLB you can work as a Tax Lawyer and pleasde the case before Income Tax authoroties. You ofcourse need to have a lot of experience for doing that.
