I am confused as to which course should I choose in engineering. I don't have any specific interest. What should I do?

See my dear brother, firstly, choosing any branch of engineering as a profession, it means you have to study in depth. Now secondly, choosing the branch in engineering is actually dependent on your interest and aptitude. If you have an interest in computers, programming and data analysis then you may excel in the field of computers. But I have seen many people struggling hard to understand and practice programming, but still are unable to learn. Actually, in computer Science field, you must be good at problem-solving. So it depends upon your interest and aptitude. Choosing the branch electronics and communication branch (ECE branch ), you must be good at studying semiconductors and communication systems. But if you are bad ATIT choosing it is your the biggest blunder. Similarly for EEE (electrical and electronics branch). You must be mathematics and physics loving. If you are not good at maths you will struggle hard to understand equations for electrical systems and much more things. Your basic concepts of class11 and 12 must be very strong. I am myself an EEE guy. Initially, I felt I will not be able to do but later on when I studied it deeply, I understood it is detail and depth explanation of class 12 concepts. And similarly, you can very well understand about other branches as well. Choose the branch according to your interest and aptitude. But if you want any other advice, you may ask on Shiksha.com.
