I am confused between CMA and CA. Which one should I choose?

I will discuss them below 1 by 1. CA stands for Chartered Accountant, professional degree provided by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. It is the premier Institute of accountancy in India. CA mainly focuses on accounting & taxation. Though viewed internally also, they deal more with the external appearance of the organisation including shareholders, other stakeholders & investors. 2. CS stands for Company Secretary, professional degree provided by the Institute of Company Secretary of India. It is the premier institute of Company Law in India. CS deals mainly with stock exchange & company's act compliances. ABOUT THE SYLLABUS:- These courses have similarity with regards to syllabus with the only difference is in the depth of syllabus.Chartered Accountancy (CA) gives you the depth knowledge financial accounting, auditing, direct tax, indirect tax, corporate laws and financial management. Cost Accounting course (CMA) gives you an in-depth knowledge of cost accounting and financial management. Company secretary study relating to all corporate lawsCA has an advantage over CMA or CS in terms of industry recognition and finance practice. Chartered accountancy is highly recognised in all areas like financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation, corporate law and audits where cost accounting majorly focuses on cost accounting practice and company secretary focuses on the corporate laws and secretarial practices but a CA does all these practices.
