Animation and interior designing are different domains with totally different work profile and needs. Animation further includes sub fields like:
Graphic designer, UX designer, UI designer, Cartoonist and Web designer.
Interior design uses a lot of computer programs to mock up designs, however, there also a tactile side to the job. You may deal directly with clients, touch or observe the design materials you'll use (fabric, furniture, paint, etc.), and be generally physically present among the spaces you'll be impacting.

    Hi, Sheen,
Media and entertainment industry is very huge and hence gives you lots of options to work for. Animation & VFX can be better choices as there are endless possibilities. If you choose to enter into this field you can venture into any designing field right from graphic to the interior, architectural 3D designing, film making advertising, etc. So I think if you are creative and have a passion for art, and if you are interested in learning new concepts then certainly you can choose animation.

Dear Sheen, I will not complicate my answer with some technical points rather I would like to say that both these fields require interest, innovation, and talent.
If you have a combination of all this three, you can go for any of the two. Both this fields have great opportunities in future.
All I want to say is that it requires work efficiency and proficiency. No matter which field you chose.
    Hope this helped. Best wishes!

Your interest doubles your career prospects. If you are interested in designing, then go for interior design or if you love cartoons, then go for animation.
