I am confused on doing B. tech in aerospace or mechanical. I am very interested in aerospace. What should I do?

I plan to study abroad (US) and have a MS Aerospace. But before that, i am confused on whether i should do BTech in Mech. or Aero (in India). People say that i should do B Tech in mech. as i'll have more career options as well as colleges providing the course to me. Thanks.
