I am confused to go for comp engineering or go for BCA? help me please(considering my marks[70%] and job opportunity).

BCA may be better choice and them proceed fro MCA for better career growth.

Hi Jijo, there is tremendous scope in almost every possible field. As for computer engineering, the scope is great. IT sector is one sector which is not going to reach saturation. So jobs for a computer science engineer will always be there in IT as well as in non-IT domains. Students who wish to pursue a career in computer science and engineering need a strong foundation in both Mathematics and Science, particularly Chemistry and Physics. To become a computer engineer one should have a graduate degree (B.E / B.Tech) or postgraduate degree (M.E) or at least have a diploma in Computer Engineering. A Diploma holder in Computer Engineering can become a junior engineer in various public and private sector jobs. Masters Degree in Computer Engineering is required for teaching. Being a computer science engineer also gives the benefit of choosing any domain for career whether Networking or Databases or Software Development. As for the job prospects, computer engineers are increasing rapidly both in India and abroad because of the booming in this industry. The remuneration depends on the status of the industry and experience, qualifications and ability of the employee. The students from the best technological universities/colleges (IITs and NITs) are offered annual pay package of up to 10 lakhs. Choosing a stream entirely depends on your interest and personal attributes. So decide wisely as it will shape your future career prospects. Hope it helps.
