i am confused wether i should go for mbbs or bds..which one is good to pursue in india?

    Traditionally, those who do net get admission in MBBS, go for BDS. But now a days, there is a huge scope for BDS if you can have your own clinic with modern equipment. Plain MBBS will not do unless you follow it up with MD/MS. If you compare salaries in hospitals, MBBS will always get higher remunerations compared to BDS.

    My sistr is a doctor BHMS.SHE IS EARNING ALOT.so jst go for mbbs or BHMS.there is huge scope in india as well as in abrod.

    The scope of BDS is increasing. The fact is that after MBBS you need to do post graduation to ensure a good career, but that is not all that necessary incase of BDS. But I still feel that for a person who is wanting to become a medical practitioner, MBBS should be the first option.
