I am currently doing 3rd year B.Tech. Can I apply for CSIR UGC NET exam?

Hello Niharika,
With B.Tech degree, you are eligible to apply for the CSIR UGC NET exam but only for the Junior Research Fellowship. According to the CSIR NET guidelines, candidates who have qualified the Master's degree or 4-year Graduation degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or are in the qualifying year of the degree can appear for the exam. As per the condition, you have to wait for 1 year to become eligible for the CSIR NET exam. When you are in the final year of B.Tech, can appear for the CSIR NET JRF exam. If you meet with the required eligibility criteria only then you will be able to apply for it.
