I am currently doing B.Sc in bioinformatics but it doesn't interest me anymore. Can I study transit my career to BCA+MCA?

I'm currently doing B.Sc. In bioinformatics but now after studying it doesn't interest me anymore. I would like to shift to MCA but people are saying it's going to be impossible to manage MCA and BCA knowledge and also the projects. I wanna know did anyone do this transition and how hard was it.
