i am currently doing T.y.b.tech (comp engg-@COE,Pune) . i am interested to do CCNA . as networking is field of my interest..n i dnt want to do anything related with software developement..i want to get rid of it..please tell me is it possible? i have a nice academic backgrnd.HSC-95%,current GPA 8.3

Why not. CCNA is a world wide recognized certification, which can be taken by any person who has knowledge of networking. You have to prepare properly before attempting the exam and after excelling in the same, It will definitely add to your CV as an Engineer with N/w certification. This will help y

Certainly you can opt for the CCNA course if you are keen to pursue a career in Networking only. CISCO offers many certification in networking other than CCNA as well like CCNP, CCIE, CCSP etc which falls in the hierarchy post completing CCNA.
