I am currently in 12th and my exams are in March 2019. Am I eligible for NEST exam?

Hello, The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognised board in India in 2017 or 2018 or appear for the same in 2019.

Yes, you are eligible for this exam. The eligibility criteria of qualifying exam: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognised board in India in 2017 or 2018 or be appearing for the same in 2019.

The total marks for NEST exam is 240 marks. However, the exam authority will consider marks out of 180 to prepare the merit list. 

Candidates can calculate their NEST scoring based on marking scheme. NEST questions will carry 3 marks per answer. Negative marking is done for wrong answers. 

Total Marks = 3 * Correct Answers - Wrong Answers
