As LPU alumni, I would recommend B.Tech is a professional degree programme. The following are good universities that offer B.Tech (Lateral) in IT:
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies
    Lovely Professional University
    Amity University
    VIT Vellore
    SRM University
    Sharda University
Being alumni of LPU, I would like to tell you that LPU offers B.Tech (Lateral) in *CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. * I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. *The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. *. .

I would suggest you to start studying from the beginning of the year. Prepare a time table and follow it. Everyday study as per the time table. Preparation and practice is the key to performance in the exams.
