You can either apply directly to colleges which take admission merit wise or you should prepare for CAT to get through the entrance and enrol in some of the premier institutes in India.

Yes you can. There are colleges which take admission for MBA after conducting their own entrance exam. Students who qualify the entrance take admission on merit basis.
