I am currently studying in BIT Deoghar (1st year ) and have secured AIR 9000 in JEE Main 2018. Can I take admission in BIT, Mesra this year?

Your rank is good. You will get CSE though not in first round but in subsequent rounds. My friends in 2016 got a seat in CSE with 10000 rank. You will get it but keep patience for CSE.

Yes that is not a problem but you will be admitted in 1st year. That is you have to repeat first year. You are going through JOSSA and no matter which college you study. You can switch if you are eligible. I would suggest you to go for BIT Mesra.

Yes, of course, you can. AIR 9000, can fetch you a lot of opportunities in BIT MESRA. You can get CS/IT branch, or any other branch if you are interested in them. Good luck.

You can easily get CSE with this rank In BIT,Mesra.Just wait for the counselling rounds and hence if not in 1st round you will surely get in 2nd round. Your rank is good.Congrats on that. Best Of Luck!
