I am Diploma holder in mechanical. After passing, can I get lateral entry in B.Tech in electrical engineering?

Yes, you can take admission in engineering in any department. Almost, all the colleges accept lateral entries, but a few of the most reputed colleges like IIT, NIT and VIT do not encourage lateral entry.

Yes, government college of Bihar accepts lateral entries. But for taking lateral entry in govt. college of Bihar, you have to give an entrance exam.
