Having Diploma in mechanical engineering with 76%, after completing 10+2 with 61%, want to become B.Tech mechanical engineer.

It is never too late to start something, but now doing a B.Tech degree will do you no good. Instead use the experience that you have gathered over the years to acheive big. Else, you can join any college for B.Tech.
