read one or two newspapers daily. choose the optional subject from ur graduation (from which u r going through). subscribe some magazines which could provide u some material regarding upsc. join some coaching classes if possible, but it is not compulsory. download previous papers and start practicin

You must be a graduate, age is minimum 21yrs old, you have 4 attempts to write this test. As you are keen to become an IAS officer start preparing for them now onwards. Here in preliminary you must take one subject of your choice and start preparing for it. In preliminary exam you have
