i am doing 2nd year btech mech. i have a very strong desire to crack gate exams . but i heard that there are only two chances and they should be consecutive. im confused whether i could attend gate in 3rd year . pls give me the correct details

I would advise to appear for GATE when you are in your 4th year. But start planning and serious thought from now itself.
