I am doing B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) from a non ICAR recognized college. Can I become a government teacher?

<p>Yes if your B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) is from a Non-ICAR recognised University but your degree is valid as per section 4 &amp; 5 of UGC act. To become a government teacher:</p><p>1. TGT/PGT in Agriculture: Passing certificates of the state level teacher eligibility tests such as CTET or State TET.</p><p><br>2. Higher Qualifications: A B.Ed degree may be required only for teaching at higher secondary standards.</p><p><br>3. Public Service Exams: Take examinations organized by state public service commissions for lectures.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>It is also advisable to see to it that your degree is approved by either UGC or an equivalent body, in case this may lead to eligibility problems when recruiting.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
