I am doing B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) from a non ICAR recognized college. Can I become a government teacher?

    Yes if your B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) is from a Non-ICAR recognised University but your degree is valid as per section 4 & 5 of UGC act. To become a government teacher:

    1. TGT/PGT in Agriculture: Passing certificates of the state level teacher eligibility tests such as CTET or State TET.


    2. Higher Qualifications: A B.Ed degree may be required only for teaching at higher secondary standards.


    3. Public Service Exams: Take examinations organized by state public service commissions for lectures.
