i am doing b.sc microbiology? i am very confused about which field to choose for my m.sc and how about the college?

I am just to complete my b.sc in microbiology. i am intersted to go for genetics but i am not getting any guidelines regarding this field. i am from punjab and in punjab if there is any college for this. and if not this then which field should i choose??? and college recommedation??
