If you could put some extra efforts to learn the advance modules like sheet metal design, Finite element Modeling, will add more possibilities of getting a job in leading OEMs. Originally Answered: CAD - computer aided Design. Which is a Designing in computer. Which is very helpful now a day. If You have interest in creating something new, Design the parts, product then and then go in this field. To do you need to learn Software of CAD like catia, solidworks, Inventor etc. Also if you want to become product designer then learn graphics design, sketching, and CAD software. It will helpful and do it before graduation. Practice lot. Because in Designing field you need to practice lot and create a portfolio. Then I'm sure everyone wants you in there company. CAM - It's about manufacturing. For this you need to learn about material, then CNC basic and also CAM Software. Prefer NX, delcam as Software.
