I am doing BA honors in English from DU. Is it a good idea to pursue Masters in mass communication and journalism?

Yes, why not? In fact, mass communication/journalism is a very popular option to opt after graduation in English. With English in graduation+mass communication in PG, you can do wonders. It is a very successful and popular combination of subjects.
You can go into these fields after completing Master's degree:
1. Public Relations
2. Corporate Communication
3. Content writing
4. Advertising
5. Digital/social media or brand marketing.
