    Yes, in last year of your UG, you can take the CSIR NET.

    Hello Priyanka,
    Yes, you are eligible to take the CSIR NET exam in your final year of graduation but only for the junior research fellowship, not for assistant professor. If you want to apply for assistant professor too, then you have to complete your post graduation first. Make sure that you have minimum 55% aggregate in your qualifying degree.

    Hi, The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is conducted for selecting the deserving candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and for the post of Assistant professor. The CSIR NET Exam is conducted for five major subjects
    Life Science
    Earth Science
    Mathematical Science
    Physical Science
    Chemical Science

    Hello,
    To appear in the CSIR NET Chemical Science Exam, you must do Post graduation in Chemical Science Exam. The minimum Eligibility to prepare for the Exam is you must have complete the Masters in the Chemical Science with around 55 % marks. For reserved candidates and Female the eligibility is 50 % marks.
    The age limit to appear in the CSIR NET Exam is 28 years while the for Reserved candidates and female the relaxations is provided.
