    Hello Deeksha,
If you want to go in IIM's college then there is no compulsion for doing a job before that. It totaly depends on your decision whether you would like to do or not.
    All the best.

If you want to get admission in any IIM, prepare for CAT and try to score a really good percentile. In case, you don't get good percentile then instead of taking admission in an average or semi average institute, start working in an corporate and apply for an online MBA. this will give a good direction to your career. Mahatma Gandhi University offers online MBA which is recognized by AICTE, UGC and DCE. And, it charges a very nominal fee which is easily affordable.

If you are looking at doing your MBA program, I suggest, you work for anywhere between 3 - 5 years and then go for the program. Your practical experience will help you to identify with various concepts and broaden your vision. Coming to IIM's, you need to understand that there is lot of hype about all IIM's. It has a lot to do with students perception, which gives it a godly status. You should essentially look at doing your MBA, from the top 20 B Schools, in India. It is imperative for you to score at least 95 percentile in your CAT, to have a realistic chance of making it, to the top 20 B Schools in India.
