    First of all, Marine Engineering and Merchant Navy are two different sectors.

    To help you, below is the eligibility criteria for your desired courses.
    a) Eligibility ---> Marine Engineering :
    ** You must complete the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
    ** You must clear detailed physical fitness and medical standards to qualify for admission.
    b) Eligibility ---> Merchant Navy :
    ** You require, plus two (PCM) with 1 year pre-sea training as a deck cadet.
