i am doing diploma in civil from regular, so can i also do one pvt. diploma ? means one is regular and the another one is just pvt. ?

i am doing diploma in civil from regular, so can i also do one pvt. diploma ? means one is regular and the another one is just pvt. ? and also can i get addmition to B.tech / BE lateral entry if i did my diploma pvt. (correspondence) in civil or mechanical or any other branch! ?
